This deed of conveyance made and entered into this fifth day of February 1895, between Lawson G. Morris and Harriet A. Morris, his wife, parties of the first part and Lawson G. Morris, W.C. Judd, and James W. McDonald, trustees of Trace Branch Methodist Church and their successors in the office.

Intrust for the use and benefit of the ministry and membership of the Methodist Episcopal Church in the United States of America. Subject to the discipline, usage, and ministerial appointment of said Church as from time to time authorized and declared and if sold the proceeds shall be disposed of and used in accordance with the provisions of said discipline parties of the second part. Witnesseth that said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged do hereby sell and convey to the parties of the second part and their successors in office the following described property to wit: A tract of land situated in Knox County, Kentucky on Richland Creek of Cumberland River. Beginning at a poplar and black gum, a corner between J.W. McDonald, W.C. Judd and said Morris. Thence N. 39 ½ W. 2 poles and 18 links to a black walnut at county road. Thence N. 2 ¾ W. 24 poles and 10 links to a stone. Thence S 27 ½ W. 38 poles and 8 links to a stone at a bar post. Thence S. 15 E. 2 poles to a stake in county road and in branch thence N. 65 E. 22 poles to the beginning. Containing one acre and 125 poles. To have and to hold the same together with all appurtenances thereto belonging unto the parties of the second part and their successors in office forever, and the said parties of the first part and their successors in office that they will warrant the title to the property hereby conveyed unto said parties of the second part and their successors in office forever, in testimony whereof the parties of the first part here unto subscribe their names the day and year aforesaid.
