The new issue of the Museum's quarterly magazine, The Knox Countian, features a businessman, civic leader, and "magician at heart," Archie West, who lived 1917-1996, mostly in Knox County, Kentucky. The articles and photos were submitted primarily by his son, Archie B. West. Featured are Archie West's Standard Oil Stations in Barbourville and several stories about his practical jokes and pranks.

Also featured in the magazine are a tongue-in-cheek genealogy article written by Wayne Adams entitled "Early Rules for Immigration to America." Other article include the following: "Myrtle Crook, Life on an Oregon Sheep Ranch" by Jimmy Siler; "Abner Wells Hopper, A Few More Tales" collected by Charles Reed Mitchell; "Waiting at the Barbourville Depot to Work in Florida, ca. 1915-16" by Jennings Roberts; "Dora Sue Oxendine Farmer Wins 2015 Susan Arthur Historical Preservation Award"; and an article on recent additions to the Museum's website.
